The Coming Decade Of Tourism Revolution
We live in exciting times and this is especially true for holiday goers. Nobody is actively wishing for economic problems – they have negative effects for everyone – But the cleansing power of changes in the status quo aren’t to be underestimated. Tourism has been more safety conscious than panicked by trouble in its source markets, but there has definitely been space for new markets to blossom.. This is fortunate for the world weary traveller. Preferences aren’t about to change massively of course, but there had been a tendency before the downturn to model every single sun-soaked tropical paradise after the typical experience of Barbados holidays. Not only are you bored, but tighter financial situations are making you look elsewhere for better deals and the new markets recognise this.
Don’t be scared off the tropical zones just because a few all-too-similar excursions. Island confinement is perhaps part of the problem. An island paradise can only fit in some much fun. Whilst it’s certainly true that there’s more than a few worthy holidays within the bounds of an island, there does come a time to try something different. Islands don’t have exclusivity on the tropical zones, and the historical and cultural benefits of a holiday in the continental tropics are not to be ignored. Thailand holidays often present a wonderful compromise: many resorts are located to give you the best of both worlds. Your craving for long sandy beaches, lush forestry and clear seas will be satisfied. But the continent is only ever a short bus or boat hop away, unlocking the cultural capital of Bangkok and the historical Siamese cities for your enjoyment.
From the Far East, we move to the Middle East. The last decade has created a curious dualism in the western perception of the region. Thankfully, we’re evolving a perspective of the Middle East that does better justice to the technological and econmical innovation that the region has historically always boasted. Dubai holidays are indisputably leading this charge with countless high profile construction projects and an impressive shopping-lead economy.
