Best Things to See and Do at Disney Theme Parks

Have you wondered what you would do if faced with a bus crash disaster made worse by a fuel tanker exploding near to your crashed vehicle, have you thought how you would react if faced with a gangster shoot out in your street, or what it would be like to be part of the Mary Poppins movie. Would you enjoy walking through a 30 foot tall blade of grass?

All these things and a lot more surprises are created for you by the Walt Disney World theme park imagineers.

The bus crash I’m talking about is part of the backlot tour attraction at Disney Hollywood Studios. The tour is a thirty five minute walking and tram ride tour which demonstrates with the use of large water tanks and pyrotechnics to create realistic sea battles and storms at sea. You may be one of the lucky guests who are asked if they wish to take part in the demonstration. Your tour ends when your tram takes a detour through catastrophe canyon, an earthquake hits, an explosion happens, but don’t worry its all part of best things to see at Disney.

The great movie ride, in Hollywood studios is where you will be part of a gangster type street shoot out, but don’t worry no one gets hurt, its all part of Disney’s use of special animatronics and movie effects. Over fifty realistic animatronics recreate the great movie stars of yesterday, recreations of the famous movies such as Casablanca, Fantasia and the wizard of oz, are provided for your entertainment. John Wayne and James Cagney are here to meet you, be sure to look at the hand and foot prints of famous stars immortalized in cement as you leave the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

Walk through giant 30 foot tall blades of grass where giant bumble bee’s some 40 foot across are created for your entertainment, this is the 11000 square foot playground adventure based on the movie Honey I shrunk the audience. Small children in the pre school age group will delight at all this attraction has to offer, unique place to capture those special holiday photographs.

More attractions await you at the Disney Hollywood studios, one of the best is the Muppet 3D show, pick up your special glasses on your way in to the theatre and be amazed by Gonza and fuzzy bear, and you feel as if you can actually stretch out your hand and touch these adorable characters, because of the special effects. Kermit and Miss Piggy and the rest of the gang will have you laughing, clapping and singing along with the different songs from this special show.
