Travelling With No Money Down – Religious Travelling

If you are a Christian or a Catholic (or consider converting to the faith), you may feel as though your life of servitude to God maybe something of a shackle preventing you from doing the things you really want to do in life like traveling.

This is not the right thinking – after all the bible says ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you.

If you have a passion for traveling, you might be surprised. God might grant you your wish. All you need to do is get on your knees and pray.

In any religious establishment, there will always be missionaries. People who are dedicated to bring the good news of salvation and the love of Jesus Christ to people of all walks of life overseas.

If you like sharing the gospel with foreigners and you absolutely love traveling even though you don’t have the money to do so, then it could be a calling from God. You might be one of his servants He has prepared and He has a mission for you. You might fit in into one of His grand schemes and before you know it, you will be migrating to a different place for a year or so to conduct church planting work.

While you are at church, make sure you build relationships with the pastor/priest and deacons. This process might take years or months depending on your involvement with the local church.

The most important thing of all is to make sure that your church will be able to support you for your journey. When churches send their people on mission trips, you have to make sure you have ample support or else you will be forced to work and support yourself.

There are many places around the world where the gospel or the good news of Jesus Christ has yet to reach the ears of unbelievers. Especially in Asian countries like Indonesia, Myanmar and Vietnam. These are places worth visiting as well.

Of course make sure that your primary aim is God’s work and not going there for leisure. It is just a side benefit but if you are faithful to God, he will bless you and you will have your prayers answered. You just have to take the initiative and serve Him first.
