Places to Find Great Camping Spots

Camping has been around for ages and is a family-friendly activity that almost everyone enjoys. However, more and more people are finding themselves cooped up in cities with seemingly no place to go camping. People in Ohio and Kentucky have resorted to staying indoors, identifying the Northern Kentucky termite and the Cincinnati termite in their houses rather than spending times outdoors, identifying birds and plants. Regardless of where you live, however, you can have a great camping experience and this article will give you a few quick tips to get you started on your dream camping trip.

For one, look for national parks in your area because chances are there is one close by. National parks span all over the country and there is at least a chunk of one in every state across the map. National parks are awesome because you do not have to have any real camping experience to survive there. There are predetermined spots set up for people to pitch up their own tents but if you do not even know how to put up a tent, you can rent out a cabin for the weekend for a relatively cheap amount of money. This is the classic camping experience and there are many people throughout the country who have gone to national parks and have wonderful memories of them.

However, there are some that do not live near national parks. Perhaps, instead, you live near a river or a large field or even a little park in the area. Camping spots can show up in the oddest places and create the most unique and compelling memories for people. Just because the spot is not designated a camping spot does not mean you cannot camp there. Check with people in charge of the area, perhaps a mayor or a groundskeeper, and ask if you can camp there for the weekend or for the week. You would be surprised by the positive response that many will give.

Finally, if there is simply nowhere in your area to go, turn back towards your house. Many people overlook the importance of their backyard and how it can bring your family together. Pitch up your tent in the yard and build a little fire for a wonderful night. Plus the bathrooms are a whole lot nicer in your house than out in the woods where there are no bathrooms. If all else fails and you do not have a yard you can use, go inside. Make a tent out of sheets in the living room or in your bedroom and create an indoor camping adventure for your family.

In the end, there are plenty of ways to find a place to go camping and there are plenty of ways to have a great time camping. Use the resources around you and you are sure to find a great place to put up a tent, have a bonfire, and create some of your kids best and most memorable memories of their childhood.

Connor R. Sullivan read recently of a Northern Kentucky termite [http://www.aceexterminating.com/service_residential.html] problem which is causing damage to area homes. He heard that certain neighborhoods have Cincinnati termite [http://www.aceexterminating.com/] problems.
