There are many things that can be said about the history of golf and its origins. This is still a very controversial subject, one that people simply can’t decide upon.
One of the theories that try to explain the origins of golf says the game first appeared during the Roman Empire under the name of "paganica". It is thought that because of their 1st century expansion, the Romans had also spread the game throughout the entire Europe.

On the other hand, public golf courses are the perfect place to go if you want to get acquainted with this sport. It should be your first choice if you want to have a great time with your family, friends or job colleagues.
