You should be mentally and physically prepared before starting your adventure. You are not going to ride the most comfortable vehicles or check in at five-star hotels. You should be contented with getting the cheapest fares and rates out there. Backpacking is all about opening yourself up to the world. It is all about getting away from the comfortable, secure and predictable life you have been living for decades.
