Lights, Camera, Action – Welcome to Mumbai
If Goa is known for its sprawling beaches and the Himalaya’s for their snow capped peaks, Mumbai is known for all that its bustling city life has to offer. Once a scene of struggle between different empires for its wealthy lands, Bombay (or Mumbai as it is known today) has become one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities with its mixture of people of all kinds.
If you were to arrive in Bombay for any reason one day (on a business trip or as part of a touristic travel), the first thing you’ll see is that the city never sleeps. You’ll never have difficulty finding a cab at any hour of the day. If you plan to go shopping, you will find a lot of choices from small traditional stalls on the road side to modern sopping malls, which are difficult to distinguish from those in Europe. Grand sized malls can be found all over the city and are the perfect outing on a warm day.

Art Museums in Munich

The city of Munich is bisected by the River Isar and is one of the most important cities of the country. A tour on a cultural tour takes us to museums in Munich, which are a mixture of art, embodied with history and styles of different artists in this journey through this part of the world.
We arrived in the first enclosure, I speak of the Art Gallery of modern art, a space that combines the dawn of modern and contemporary painting, sculpture and graphic world. Call the attention of visitors, the Glyptothek with his sculptures and his collection of ancient artifacts, and the house Lenbachhaus. But this place also has the distinction of hosting more than one site. Here also the Museum of Architecture, with its collection at the service of the traveler and the German Museum (Deutsches Museum), is a museum that has a painting of the castle, where inside you can see more of an old airplane. Here visitors can participate actively, pushing buttons, pushing levers, manipulating switches, etc.. [Read more →]

Art and History:
Milan, located in the plains of Lombardy, one of the more developed regions of Italy, is an important financial and commercial center, not in vain is the headquarters of the Milan Stock Exchange. It is just a city that offers a multitude of options for every taste that can be combined according to personal interests and objectives of the trip. So, when visiting this city of Lombardy opens a window into the past of a city which used to be one of the richest not only of Italy but of Europe.
One of the first options to consider might be to make a panoramic tour of the city to admire and enjoy its most important tourist areas that stand between the Duomo, an incredible gothic-style cathedral, the second largest in the world, located in the geographic center of Milan. Travel to the Greek island of Santorini

When you get to Santorini is not difficult to imagine why she was nominated for the 7 Natural Wonders of the World, and from the plane and, no doubt, from one of the many cruises that stop in Santorini, they could see the magic and charm of a glamorous island is left to see, feel and smell like one of those mythical places we dream in Greek travel agencies. From the air it is easy to spot that Santorini is a small circular archipelago of volcanic islands formed are in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200 km southeast of the Greek mainland that form the southernmost group of islands whose area of approximately stretches along some 70 km².
In fact, to be very precise, Santorini is the remains of an enormous volcanic explosion which destroyed the earliest settlements that existed at the site and, according to the story of the place it occurred 3,000 years before Christ. The volcanic blast wiped out much of the territory of the former island and caused the creation of the current geological caldera. But the volcanic activity of Santorini did not stop in that explosion, but that is still the most active volcanic center of the volcanic arc of southern Aegean, though, as you can see today what remains is a flooded caldera that seems a huge gap of more or less oval shape measuring 12 miles long by 7 miles wide and its waters, in the middle of the lagoon has a depth of 400 meters, thus allowing navigation of all ships, why the island’s ports are all within the lagoon and not the sea that is surrounded on three sides by high cliffs that is about 300 meters high. In both the fourth side of the lagoon is separated from the sea by a much smaller island called Therasia and that makes barrier between the lagoon and sea, however, joined in two places, northwest and southwest. Hong Kong in 3 Days
A three day break from teaching English in Thailand was clearly a justifying claim for a brief excursion to Hong Kong from Bangkok. I arrived mid afternoon to the very friendly and high tech airport. The airport link train located literally inside of the airport was an easy ride to Hong Kong train station.
Through the green forested mountains we traveled. For a jiffy I thought I might come face to face with an Orangutan, when abruptly the green dissolved and transformed into monstrous fabricated structures of engineering impossibility.
That evening we indulged in a variety of fried delights accompanying a Chinese style massive portion of steamed rice (I’ve become so accustomed to rather small Thai portions). Neck deep in awe of this urban dwellers wonderland, I was introduced to the uber materialism of the SOHO region where glittered shops caught everyone’s attention from infinite directions. From there we hiked to the ferry terminal in order to catch a vessel across Hong Kong Bay to the Kowloon side, ecstatic to inspect the outrageous blaze of illumination like some kind of crazy aurora.
